Free Backyard Composting Workshops
Learn from the experts how to turn your garbage into gold for your garden! You'll discover the different methods of backyard composting, how composting conditions the soil for healthy plants, and how you can save money and water. Reservations are required and can be made online at the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation, or by calling 760-436-7986, extension 216.
All workshops at the San Diego Zoo are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Otto Center (1 block south of the zoo's main entrance), located in Balboa Park at 2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.
