Recycle San Diego and our secondary recyclers use hands-on
methods to recycle display monitors and computers. We recycle the
materials we receive using human labor and hand tools - a careful yet
efficient and cost-effective process.
Printers, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, and other small devices are shredded by an SSI industrial shredder,
which separates the materials using state-of-the-art technology. This
process is extremely effective when recycling devices made mostly of
plastic and metal.
