San Diego River Cleanup - Fashion Valley

As part of the San Diego River Park Foundation’s San Diego River Cleanup Month, volunteers are needed to help us in our continued efforts to rid our river of trash and debris. Great progress has been made but the efforts to restore our river must continue. Help us to take back our river! This is a great and meaningful activity to help our environment, get some exercise and meet like-minded people interested in the health of our namesake river. Volunteers will meet at the south east end of the Fashion Valley dirt parking lot. Taking the trolley is encouraged. No Experience is necessary. Tools, gloves and trash bags are provided as are water and snacks. Community service hours can be verified.
