How to get around
Walk – Many of the places you need to get to are probably within walking distance. Walking is a great form of exercise and will give you a better opportunity to get to know your neighbors.
Ride a skateboard – Skating is another earth-friendly alternative for getting around town or campus.
Ride a bike – Riding a bike can be fun and practical. Parking is easy at most places and you’ll save a lot of money on fees and gas.
Use public transportation – Sometimes it’s nice to leave the driving to someone else. The train or bus is a great place to relax and read or listen to music.
Carpool – Sharing a ride with a friend is a great way to keep a car off the road; reducing congestion, pollution and expenses.
