Recycle - Reduce - Reuse
Recycle to save valuable resources.
Many items, including plastic bottles, glass bottles and jars, aluminum cans, paper, and cardboard can be picked up at your curb for recycling. Most other household waste can be recycled as well.
Reduce trash and wasted resources.
Buy only what you need. Choose high quality products that will last a long time, products that can be used more than once, and those made from recycled materials. Some other easy ways to conserve resources include furnishing your own mug for hot drinks, carrying a reusable container with you for drinking water, and bringing your own bags when you go shopping.
Reuse whenever possible.
Repair the things you can, buy used when possible, and sell or give usable items to someone who will use them.
