the end of every Summer, Woodie owners from around the country get together
at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California to assemble an incredible
collection of classic woodie cars. This year, the weather in sunny California
was absolutely beautiful for the woodie car show and the cars keep getting
better every year.
At the aunual
woodie car meet in Encinitas, the air is always filled with talk of
cars and surfing. You can hear lots of chatter about classic longboard
dimensions, memorable surf sessions and surfing legends. While walking
around it was easy to appreciate what surf culture and the surfing
lifestyle has meant to so many over the years. Saturday night was
topped off with a live performance at the La Paloma Theatre featuring
surf music by Dick Dale & His Del-Tones.
