If you want to surf the coast here in San Diego, you can choose from plenty of budget minded motels or upscale hotels, where you can stay just minutes from world class surf. From your ocean view La Jolla hotel you can rip it up, surfing over the reefs of Wind and Sea or getting barreled by the powerful waves at Black's beach.

When the waves aren't happening, you can always break out your skateboard for surfing the wooden waves at the world famous YMCA skate park.

And if you don't know how to surf, you can always count on riding waves at Kahuna Bob's Surf School.
